Hi everyone, I'm looking to make a list, just for my own amusement, of records that Butch has played out over the years. I'm specifically looking for records that he has broken or were exclusive to him, from any era, rather than underplayed tunes/forgotten oldies that he has revived etc.

I'd be grateful for all suggestions.

Thanks in advance, Tony T.

  • A more definitive list of spins not yet mentioned, from mainly the early 80s to 2000.                                                                                                    The Arcade

  • Thanks for all the contributions and suggestions.  Not all are correct from my own perspective, but that's understandable considering that I have dj'd at the best upfront venues for the last 40 years

Heard this first time ever. What a great record. Even though it will probably never known who is behind this, it sure must be a Detroit recording or am I wrong

Kitch played it at Burnley a few times. I went mental.

Always admired Mr. Dobsons output over the years, including the 100 club, and Lifeline, as two examples, the guy still keeps coming up with exceptional unknowns, as experienced at The superb Ukranian Club in Ashton under Lyme in greater Manchester, back in May of this year.....Whilst the output  numberswise diminishes in content.....The Man is still on top of his game....!

Worth going to the 100 club for it. Sounds fantastic in that place

I’m sure if you find a sound file plenty of people will know it

Yep - I really enjoyed his sets at Blackpool - one track that stood out for me he played was a guy singing - I’ll Find You - in the chorus line - superb stuff if anybody knows it !

It’s Darrell Banks “ Don’t You Know How Much I Wanna Love You “ Acetate .

2.00am set at Blackpool last week in the Old Vic was superb. Not many I recognised, but this one was a great starter
