Diggin' Dave Posted January 7, 2009 Share Posted January 7, 2009 Being the record nerd that I am, I want all 45s from my collection to be in their matching company sleeve, but in many cases it's not very easy to find out which company sleeve is the fitting one for a record. It's easy for labels like GSF that issued all their records in the same company sleeve (I think), but other labels (RCA, Brunswick, Atlantic etc.) with several different company bags are a bit harder. Does anyone on the forum know a good source where I can find out which sleeves fit with a certain record. Maybe somewhere where I can find the periods in which certain sleeves were used, or even better, label numbers between which they were used? In fact I even got up one night because I couldn't bear it anymore and I replaced all repro bag with plain white/brown ones. They don't really look real too... These are good quality repro's not like the photo-copy ones you see at the record fairs. Like has been said though, expensive for what they are.
