Good afternoon Tony, whilst not claiming to know everything like many on here, I am intrigued to learn more about the Bike Mice From Mars Membership - please enlighten, should this not have anything to do with 2 wheels and 750 cc.

Sadly gave my membership card, badge covered overnight bag and full circle skirts away in a moment of madness.

Met a scooter lad and never thought I'd return to the Northern scene for own reasons.

Now get withdrawal symptoms if not soulin each week - end and wished I'd kept the badges and membership card.

Gilly, sorry to go off topic but did you know a lad from Stoke named Thozzer who used to frequent the Casino in the late 70's, he also was a scooter lad who knocked about around Stafford and married a girl from RUGELEY. REGARDS pecker

The HIGH TENSION gig was on a Wednesday night and not the ALL-NIGHTER, Don't know wether you missed that Dave, if you look on the original post the Advert was for the promotion of the 6th ANNI.

I still have mine - odd when so much has gone by the way. It's a blue gents card and dated June (no year shown though it was 1974) # 1416.

I'm not too sure they were meticulous with thier numbering though, MoodySoul's is a higher number but he got it earlier than I did by the looks of things - do you think they just chose a number at random? I had always been quite proud of my 'low' number, now I'm not so sure...

best,

RB

Can`t remember why but I ended up with a pink (ladies) membership card, much to amusement of my mates as I recall!

I`ve also got a yellow "music club of Yorkshire" membership card, but can`t for the life of me remember which venue it was from. Perhaps Mr. Burton can shed a little light on that for me, cos my brain hurts! wink.gif

That name rings a bell, but not guilty

Bill Payne and I used the name " High Style Music Revue " for numerous promotions we did in the 80s , and the membership cards for it were yellow .
