Check out The Swingin' Medallions Lp containing a great Northern dancer M.T.Y.L.T.T. (More Than Yesterday Less Than Tomorrow).

Sorry, it didn't. From what I remember it never came out in the US (and probably would have been on Le Cam anyway). Pic shows german Vibraton release. it also came out in numerous continental countries on different labels from what I recall.

German yes, i have this..was JV's copy when he sold up about 5 years ago. As for their 7's, most came out on Charay

I don’t think this big production northern soul track ever got the credit it deserved

Freda Payne - β€œYou never should have loved me” off her MGM LP β€˜How Do You Say I Don't Love You Anymore’.

The Ojays - Love Slipped Through My Fingers / Pickwick Lp, and I think '16 greatest hits' on trip, anyhow LP only on first Viynl release.

Clifford Binns - 'I'm Human Too', Carrie 'Reissue' Lp that came out in the 8ts.

Is this getting confused with The Ohio Players LP β€˜Superpack’ on TRIP. This includes β€˜Love Slipped Through My Fingers’

Another overlooked one

Thelma Houston LP β€˜same’ which includes the LP only β€˜Nothing left to give’. Never quite worked out why the track listing on the USA release of the same LP excluded this track!!!

And LP only The Ripple Blast Singers LP β€˜Funny Girl a la Soul’ which includes β€˜Sadie Sadie’. You have to be very careful when buying a copy tho’ as there are two versions of Sadie - a slow version and a fast version. Both releases have exactly same cover and label - one character difference on the run out grooves is the only way to visually tell!! THIS IS THE FAST VERSION

Been featured on fb by Mr. Dewhirst about 3 weeks ago, and yes..2 releases of the album with differing rpms, ordered a ' fast ' one from abroad recently, been played before quite a long 5ime ago now but, still going to be an unknown to the vast majority i think?....so much to be said for lp tracks!

Williams & Watson -Takin β€˜ No Chances (vocal to β€œ South Like West β€œ ) only on the Okeh album

Original take of Love Is A Funny Thing ( John Wesley-Melic ) Ain't Gonna Move is good as well. Not a duff track on the album.

Some of the tracIs that are on 45 are different takes

Not seen this on a 45, quality record!

Used to get a lot of spins, i remember from almost 30 years ago at least, truth be told probably well before that too...a great tune that maybe been largely forgotten because of the fact it's lp only.

Besides..it has that undeniable Stax ' sound ' about it, even given the full orchestration....the company was still holding to it's rnb orientated roots and ethic even as late as 69.

Had a TMG UK 45 release in '73 , LP first but not exclusively LP only.

The lp version of course, is the full length version ( well...on the Starline Budget lp it is )

Karl elluded to different versions on singles as opposed to lp cuts.

The Exits " Gotta Have Money " is longer on the Guiness album, with extra verses

Bobby Freeman's " I'll Never Fall In Love Again " is a totally different version on lp as opposed to single.

A great track from a great LP with no duds, still playing this LP after owning since buying it from Soul Bowl.

This has been released on P-vine PLP9002

& then there's the female version.

This version blows Bill Coday out of the park
