Dean
Keep in touch Stevie. I can bring the "local" Deliverance Duo out for a ride . . . . Thinking of it, it does sound a bit posh, is there a dress code? They'll fail it. Is Friday 29 Jan fixed for launch. Would like a ride over. Hope all's good in your world Stevie. Will have a look around and always try and keep away from others but its pretty tough with the ammount of nights on the go... I hope to have options of Friday or Saturday as i said and can chop and change to keep avoid others.. Friday 29th Jan is my birthday and a few others too, a good a time to start as any i guess and we have a great little venue with a free hand to play underground soul music with no restrictions.. The upstairs room holds about 50 only with its own bar, there is room downstairs for overflow with music throughout.. Its a small and plush venue keeping it real, nothing more.. This is an open invite to all if you are in the area.. Link to comment

Lloyd Street was something special and if you can get anywhere near that Steve it'll be a must attend. Cheers Ged Will try our best as ever.. Different layout to Loyd St, its more a bar than a club but we will a small space for dancing along with a really really plus layout of seating/ cinema screens for showing old footage and a really nice dining area with meals up to 11pm i think.. first time i have advertised food on a promotion Gonna look into stanna stair lift too as we aint spring chickens and we will have an airport style full body scanner to check on my Yorkshire mates, they hide money away to avaoid getting the drinks in... Can i ask to any coming along for sure to rsvp via pms or email.. Need to keep a check on numbers with regards to the venue staffing bars etc.. We have space for 40/50 only upstairs and around 150 downstairs, its open plan on both floors and will be fine.. i will reserve space upstairs for all djs/ friends/ regulars and any fooker who will buy a round... Little-stevie
Could this see a return of the Swedish Roy Walker? He aint Roy Walker... I can understand Roy Walker Thanks for all the feedback, its all been a bit olf a rush but a good venue drops on your lap and you have to take it... I will post up the venue details later, just waiting to confirm things with the manager... I now have the full list of djs for the 29th.. Jan.. Wayne Dearman.. George Mahood.... Dave Ripolles... Adam Leaver... Gareth Sweeney... All these boys have plenty delights to pull out and one or two nice tunes also.. George as been busy sniffing round the states as will have his funky xmas cover ups for the chin strokers.. Adam tells me he's been buying like mad and can't wait to play some new sounds.. Plus parade his new wife,we are all playing grown ups now.. Its great to have Gareth back as he was there behind the decks on our launch night at Loyd St.. A quiet man of quality soul.. Dave the Dentist is just the ticket, he will take any rare tunes for a bit of a fiddle round your gob and the odd scrape and pull, the socialists rare soul dentist indeed.. My old mucker Wayne will delight with a mixed bag of sounds as always and keep you guessing.. We have an option to take the night past 2pm.. We shall see... Got a few confirmed guests via pms already and i will save you place by the bar... Link to comment
