Thought it would be a good idea to post scans, pics, or just name the records that dropped through the letterbox or you have bought somewhere.

I thought it would be good idea to see what we are all buying - it doesn't matter f it is £1 or £cost a fortune, just post it here so we can all see what we managed to get and may a few words on why we bought it?

Moderaters can advise if it is a good thread or not.

1. Young Holt Limited "California Montage" Brunswick USA DEMO - well chuffed, have a stocker, but wanted the demo!

2. Gloria Jones "Tainted Love" USA Champion - label is knackered, vinyl plays great and is in VG++ condition. I bought as I cannot afford a Minty one so got this one for £20 so I can play on original vinyl in my soul do at my house!

Well it took 2 months to arrive, but it landed this morning, NM Canadian copy of Little Wille John's album. Phew! (and yes I was Shakin' when it arrived  )!

A pretty harrowing drive to St Catherines for the first show of they year, it is right by the lake and the white out conditions were pretty bad for a while. It is also minus 30 with the wind chill but I persevered and I was glad I did:

Johnny Maestro and the Crests - Heartburn, £3.10 off Ebay with only two bidders. The vinyl was covered in grime but after a bit of a clean up it was a very nice VG+. It has only just gone into the box. Must have played it at least half a dozen times. Great "Oldie"

After going a bit overboard with the credit cards recently, I've had to reign in the spending a bit.  However, I did manage to pick up this long time want for less than £7 including delivery from Spain!  I've had a UK Tamla Motown release for years but always wanted a US original release.  The 'B' side to the more famous I'll Pick A Rose For My Rose 'A' Side, You Got The Love I Love by Marv Johnson on Gordy.

Just received Solid Solution "loving you' LP $40 all up.

"Think about it girl" is the track, [lp only]the rest I don't like.

Some of the best packages to arrive are the thick ones.

 

Hour and a half drive each way, half a tank of petrol, $5 for a bagel and coffee, $20 for early entry - records bought - 3

 

F**king 3, call themselves record dealers? They should be ashamed   This is one of the larger shows and it really was bad.
