Not sure where to post but just to let everyone know ted has had his open heart surgery. He not quite awake yet and is in ITU 

the op has gone well as far as we know. So just need him to make a good recovery now with no infections. 

Im sure Ted as soon as he can will post up and let you all know how he's doing.

Hi All

Not allowed to send flowers to hospital anymore! One of Ted's close friends who lives nearby has been in touch and we'll sort some flowers once Ted is home. I've passed on all of our best wishes and they will be relayed to Ted - I'm sure they have been already, but nothing wrong in saying it again.

Wishing you all the best. Without you my British record collection would not be as good as it is. You probably don't remember but back in the 80t's, when I lived in Aylesbury, I would get a phone call from you every now and then offering me the your issue copy of a record you had just bought the demo of. Needless to say I would always buy these. Thank's again. By the way I've still got them all.

I left the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham last night theyhave been absolutely brilliant right from the porters thru to the surgeons I can not thank them enough. Now the hard work begins eventually getting up to 4 miles a day walking Fook knows how as Steps ap since April shows me going past 2 miles 3 times lol. And I just want to say a special thank you Janet Birch, Victoria and Neil Dance, John Weston, Al Edge, Lou Wood and Helen Preston  for all posts and keeping folk updated. Also all the kind thoughts and wishes of our wonderful soul family xxxx hope to back spinning a few in December

Good to hear you're on the mend. Doctors orders say there's only one thing for you...don't go looking at any record lists priced in dollars for the next two years until sterling recovers...
