December 4, 200915 yr Bobby Wells The Psychedelic Theme (but I love Let's Cop A Groove too, so I'm cheating). Not sure how The Magicians is dire Simon, fair enough if you prefer the instrumental but it's a full on great vocal group performance with excellent lyrics; technically the Waves 'Is It Love Baby' was the original I think. Pete there is a Rita inst out on Kent Select, I'm not sure if that's what Paul sent you.
December 4, 200915 yr 6x6 never had a legit vocal so there fore does not qualify.... does it? there is a one off studio acetate (Jobete) with a vocal so technically it does exist.

Not sure how The Magicians is dire Simon, fair enough if you prefer the instrumental but it's a full on great vocal group performance with excellent lyrics; technically the Waves 'Is It Love Baby' was the original I think. Is that the one that was released as the Tandels on Kent (great version - and as the Kent 45 is the original release, can be played out as OVO n'est-ce pas)? Or is there yet another version? BTW for a really bad version, check out "At The Disco (Strings A Go Go)" dunno the artist but I think it was a tailormade on Black Magic

Damn right on the OVO too.
December 4, 200915 yr Gallop-Defo l Belong To You-Bag Of Shite! Was this a 'Tailor-made' vocal made for the scene? Thought it was an unreleased 60's track? Actually I prefer the vocal to the inst in this instance Edited December 4, 200915 yr by Pete S

January 29, 201015 yr The Paradox - 'Ring The Changes' is better than the vocal version by David Walker. You and the Paradox - leave it will you .Liberty - Girl you better wake up.
January 29, 201015 yr You and the Paradox - leave it will you:lol: . But it is the best Northern instrumental ever, fact! Nothing else has those fat horns, that tempo, the break. I know not of anything else that comes close. It's a tough task for an instrumental to be soulful, few manage it. This record has it in aces!
1) Cigarette Ashes
2)Right Track
