I've always had a soft spot for duets which I guess it stems from an early love of Sam and Dave, anyone got any recommendations of the less obvious ,any genre Northern , Deep etc

                  Cheers in advance

Linda Jones and the Whatnauts. Solo and group duet of the highest order.

James Carr & Betty Harris

Gene Chandler & Barbara Acklin - Show me the Way To Go;

Betty Everett & Jerry Butler - Just Be True

Here's a couple from my box, love both these, they're from the RnB end of the soul scale I guess but I love 'em!

Brilliant tune - I'm gonna dig mine out again.

Cheers.

It's fairly mainstream but there is the whole King and Queen album - Otis Redding and Carla Thomas.

Just one representative track here.

You know that man's voice is not so much a voice - more a musical instrument! :)

Motown Duets;

                             "Let's Make Love Now" = Art Posey and Honey Sessions( plus Levi and Jeans Vers)

                              "It Must Be Love Baby"= Chuck Jackson and Yvonne Fair.

                               " Don't Knock My Love = Marvin and Lady Di. . ( those horns do remind m of Ian's "Reachin')

                                Great Topic,should run and run.!
