My number one want has come up for sale so I'm going to have to get rid of some of the items in my playbox. I'm taking offers on all of the ones below. I don't really want to sell any of these so serious bids only, also if I don't raise enough to buy the record I'm not selling anything. Bid what you want but I'm not going to be entering into dialogue with anyone over prices so I'll let the successful bids know how they've done next Saturday. If there are records that anyone knows I have but are not on the list below pm me and I'll consider them also.

just sold for a lot on ebay so that would be best place for this. Can't remember exact price but it was about $700 or $800.

Its the deep soul flip I like so I saved myself a lot of money by buying the radio city release

Just another point as I genuinely am interetsed in couple

What the point of anyone bidding becuase even if you accept what I offer for acouple I am then heavily reliant on other people coming up with bids on others for you to accept so I can get the records I want - Its just plain stupid

It seems fairly simple to me. If there is a record you want, put a bid in and you might get it. If you don't then you don't - what's complicated about that?

whats complicated Donna (hello btw) is that Warren is saying if he doesn't raise enough they won't be sold ...there is a couple of items on that list i'd be in for but i don't see the point

I know this sounds daft but there are a couple on your list I have not a clue about price so dont know what to bid

How about a guide on them like a proper auction does eg £300-£500 at least them I ewould have some idea :D

I agree there are a couple of these that I would be interested in too, but not sure of what to bid as I am not sure of the values and don't want to insult you Warren with silly bids. By the way Warren didn't know that you were selling both your copies of Pat Lewis :D

Its got as much to do with me as it has to do with you, maybe more as I made an offer on something, and if I dont get it because Warren decides not to sell, which he fairly stated might happen, then that is fine by me. Dont take it so seriously. Make an offer or dont make an offer - tis all there is to it. If you have your last £500 then it will be up to you whether you bid on something and take a chance or take the other one you were thinking about - how is that Warrens responsibility?

as already said if bid accepted then the record should be sold...why put a list up and say you might not even sell them? either you are or you or you are not. If not sure then they shouldn't be offered on here.

Taken on board the comments on the gradings and have amended the original posting. All records are VG++ unless stated. Anyway if you're lucky and you don't think it comes up to scratch I'll offer a full refund and I'll pay the postage - can't say fairer than that.

Regarding the comments about the way I'm doing this - I've sold records in the past to fund other sales - twice I've not got the record and lost good records in the process. Anyway if you don't want to bid - Don't. Lew Stanley's been selling like this for years and no one complains.

I've had quite a few good offers but just to let you know there won't be any bargains from this list. Good luck all.

Above says it all.

Not sure this sort of practice would be a good thing on a regular basis in here though.

What!! just for some, tell you what i`ll put my whole collection up for offers, cant be arsed bothering with a list,or stating conditions and if ya`want to bid bid if you dont dont,as long as nobody gets any bargains i`m happy with that.

Why would any one want to devalue their collection just to get what is bascically a pop record IMO if its the one im thinking about

 Almost any of these records is better if I'm thinking of the same record too. Keep 'em Warren, you may regret it otherwise.

i don't really see what the problem is here, seems to me warren couldn't be clearer

ie: they're not for sale but if you wanna make him an offer and he gets the record he is after he will look at all of the offers and sell enough to pay for his new purchase

i would suggest that if you don't like that arrangement don't make him any offers

there's some nice records on that list and there's a chance that you might get some of them for what you want to pay, rather than what he would be asking if they were in his sales box (which i can assure you they haven't been)

if you want items at set sale with detailed grading, i'm sure warren will be pleased to send you a list of what actually is in his sales box

he's said he isn't gonna give anything away, which means there's unlikely to be any prospect of a profit in selling-on

i shall certainly be making him some offers - if i get any of them i will be well pleased - if not, then there's plenty more fish in the sea

fix up people, they're only records......not life and death

Yeah I know but I still think it's hard to make a bid on a record when you don't know it's exact condition. I wouldn't try and sell you a record without telling you what shape it was in.

tell you what pete, i'm gonna be round warren's house tonight just after 9.00pm

if you text me which ones you wanna know about i'll text you back an accurate grading - 07739916899

better get your offers in folks......................else i'm gonna clear him out

HiyaThey all play great and look good too. I'm not selling any mminters coz they're out of my playbox but I don't think anyone will be disappointed. What i'll do is send the winning bidders a soundfile so they can hear the record before they buy. How's that for customer service.

It sounds to me that Warren is defining mint as totally unplayed? Perhaps warren could put up his grading criteria?

It's in the same condition as when you sold it to me but I wouldn't have called it mint when I bought it off you - just shows how good my gradings are laugh.gif .

Will be closing the offers at 12 midday tomorrow. I've had quite a few pms asking what particular records are going for but I'm not interested in playing bidders against each other so would advise that if you want a record that you place a bid. As I said earlier I'll offer a sound file to all winning bidders so you can hear before you buy.

Cheers
