I've bought a new cossie especially for it, its covered in poppers I'm really sick that I'm not going for the whole weekend, last year was the best laugh I've ever had, I know you'll all have a belter Kx Currently it's heavy showers (Thursday) and light showers (Friday) so on this basis it should be a scorcher on Monday when we go home!! Alison H Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 I had a word and it's going to be getting better for the weekend (according to the Met Office) I know its evil of me but when everyone at work was sulking on Friday 5/6 cos the weekends weather forecast (just gone) was terrible. I was secretly chuckling inside & praying for the shxte weather they had forecast so that there would be a chance that by the time the best weekend in the world is upon us the Sun may come out to play. I know its not all about the weather but it does help with the hangovers if you can lie/sit in the sunshine by the pool,listening to quality music from both rooms (a room in each ear depending which sunlounger/chair you park your backside on) & get sunstroke.... certainly takes your mind off the hangovers !! As you are a connoisseur with the alcohol I will leave it up to you to mix the ingredients and I will bring the funky straws & the umbrellas (Ella's for the drinks of course & not the weather!...Shhh!!) It will be great catching up with you & Sharon again so see you both in Cleethorpes with the rest of the York lot !! I have a very big box of CDs in my attic, CDs which belong to Melvin Davis. If anybody from Coventry or nearby would be willing to come and collect them from me and deliver them to Melvin it would be much appreciated.....sure Melvin would be quite pleased to get them as well . So ALREADY a week behind I guess some things will NEVER change !! Looking forward to seeing, and conversing with, loads of Soulies I both see on a regular & not so regular basis. Didn't get around to sorting any accomodation either, so looks like my car will be seeing lots of me when it comes time to grab some shut-eye.. Certain I can find accomodating folk that will allow me to utilise the Bathroom facilities of their chalet to allow me to freshen-up & shower etc. If not - I'll just be EXTREMELY SMELLY !!
