Can confirm that Richard was writing a book as I spoke to him about it......but as someone who is also writing a (fact) book, I think it's all too easy to underestimate what the sheer effort it takes.

Richard Searling, Ian Levine, Mick Smith, John Anderson and so on - all got so many stories to tell - surprised nobody's offer to help them write a book. Mick always tells me stories and says "That'll be going in the book" but he'll never do it..
