I can't keep quiet about this any more. Don't people realise that the reason you can't sell records like that Chocolate Syrup 45 on Brown Dog or Lonette McKee on Sussex for £60 - and therefore have to keep re-listing them - is because they are all over the internet for £10 or much less?
I don't know how other people think, but from my perspective it completely undermines the integrity of the seller: every time I see something stupidly over-priced like that I ignore the rest of their sales, and any subsequent sales posts, because I assume that if they have anything I'm interested in, I'll be able to get it at a fraction of the price from my first google search.
As a sales strategy, it seems pretty flawed to me...
