RIP Mickey. Have prayed for you to wake up all weekend but it hasn't happened.  Have fun up there with Lawson and Kyle and other friends that have been cruelly taken at such a young age.

Your smiling face and happiness will be missed by so many. For me it was always a treat when you turned up somewhere because you put a big fat smile on everybody's face. And we had some barmy conversations!! A gentleman in every way.

I'm not sure if I know Micky - perhaps from back in the day. That matters not though - I am genuinely saddened to hear that he has passed away. However, what a tribute the man has received from his friends on Soul Source - he was obviously a very kind man who was loved by many, many people.

I haven't seen Micky for quite some time but I have often thought and spoken about him to others over the years.

He was that special kind of person that often cropped up in conversations and when he came into your thoughts it always brought a smile to your face.

Funny I only met Micky once at Wilton all nighter some 15 yr ago , I chatted to him for a couple of hours about people we both knew and of course the music. I never met him again but the thing is I never forgot meeting him , sign of meeting a "good un" if you ask me , god bless him.

Last saw Mickie last August @ Radcliffe always had a funny tale to tell me

So shit at names and remembering the faces that go with them, everybody at weekend was telling me i knew you, well if was not for the pic that Dave T put up on here then i would still had said i never knew you..........how wrong i would have been.

 

Lots of crazy memories come flooding in to my mind, the best being when my head gasket blew turning into car park at princess suite stoke early 80's, yourself, Pete Lawson, Ant, Blondie, and Hodge descended on my Mk3 escort and proceeded to "do a job to get ya home in the morning" .....it did.
