Hi all, I'm writing a blog on Outlandish Label designs, who's got any? must be USA if you can, prefer soul, but any label thats had soul stuff on will do it..  I'm not wondering into other countries in the text..

 

Always love this Grateful dead song, and the US label......

I do like the blue label version- I'm glad this black variation didn't last long .

I'm not including this for the design but for the label name. I've always wondered what they were thinking ??

cheers none the less john... Ive got a pretty good selection, I just need a Bunny 'Hopping With Hits' label, or a 'Bet Its a Hit' something like that, had these years ago but long since sold...

Tarpon (A Love Reputation - Denise LeSalle) has got to rank high - a Tarpon is a very famous big game angling fish which is actually a giant (up to 300lb) herring.

One of my favourite looking labels with a couple of nice surf and garage things and some whacky low-fi girl stuff. Some issues in nice red vinyl. Apparently Cleo is actually label owner Tommy Falcone's wife in a halloween costume.
