That Big Maybelle record is probably the most emotional vocal I've ever heard, almost makes me cry towards the end when her voice nearly breaks, talk about singing it from the heart..

perhaps this has been covered before, but could make for an interesting discussion...
we pretty much all know the "3 before 8" well enough by now, but what other tracks do you soul-sourcers like to hear or play to close out a night? what sound best rounds out your set when its time to pack up the box one more time? do you like to end on an uptempo dance number or a nice deep side to mellow it all out before the lights come up?
