Louisville’s Unhooked Generation They were an eight piece group formed out of Jerry Green’s group The Sonic Sounds. Along with Jerry the band included several other members that would progress to make a mark in the business. Wally Roker - Sad News RIP

Sad to hear that Wally Roker has passed away. West Coast producer, label owner and one time member of The Heartbeats. In 1965 he then went onto St Lawrence records in Chicago as a promo man. Thanks to

Sad News: Allen Toussaint R I P

It has been reported by WWL-TV in New Orleans that Allan Toussaint passed away on Monday ......... http://www.wwltv.com/story/news/2015/11/10/allen-toussaint/75500982/ It seems he passed away in Spain after doing a live show there. He was due to perform in London on Sunday. I love much of the stuff he was involved with in the 60's (Lee Dorsey, Betty Harris, Irma Thomas, Diamond Joe, etc.). In the 70's , he became an artist in his own right and made more great music. Sad news indeed.
