I got a gourmet three course dinner for under a fiver last weekend.

Kin' ell it was not that bad, i actually thought it was (another) not taking the piss look into what we got......and a shameless plug but thats the way it goes..

Just watched the One Show. and my verdict? Un-fookin-believable!!!!!!

 

I can't believe that Bristol people actually paid more for their meals in the 'pay what you like' scheme. Always found them a bunch of tightwads when trading down there.

This was tame in comparison believe me. At least the One Show finished with Lorraine Chandler!

Shocking,disgusting,...........£1.50 for a crisp sandwich.? Tell you what though,and don't tell the missus,but Lisa Stansfield is still all woman.

The film clip looked interesting.Some of the usual suspects on the dancefloor.

Quite enjoyed the last 5 minutes bit, some smashing dancers, still don't like the baggies and the acrobatics but there were some quality dancers on there

It was like a fecking circus.

I think i can live without seeing it for now......Plenty more to come i guess with the film on the way......

Missed the beginning of the programme and turned it on to a bit about adopting an old guy and taking him out for a pint.  I wondered where the music was.

 

As it turned out that was the only bit worth watching unless you like elephants.

I enjoyed it, yeah, quite a few embarrassing bits, but I did like seeing folk that I know shuffling away.

It wasn't meant to be a documentary, just light hearted entertainment, & if it helps the film "Northern Soul" be a success, then fair play.

The scene portrayed is a million miles away from the scene that I grew up in during the mid 80's/early 90's, but it's clearly a scene that, in the main, many young folk/returnees feel a big part of now, so good luck to them, let them enjoy their soul journey, as I enjoyed mine, & as I'm still enjoying away from the TV cameras

The young blokes were great dancers though.

 

This is the final proof surely that the only way the dance side of this scene will ever translate to film, is via stylish, fit, attractive and passionate youngsters.

Totally gutted, only watched it to see if Alex Jones wore BIG PANTS

I had two choices , watch Emmerdale or got to the pub for a pint . Choose the later and they had it on the TV . got chucked out for being in the cellar .

No real comment on the One Show to be honest but I  would just like to thank some of you for your comments I've not laughed so much in ages infact tears running down my face, I was waiting for Martyn Clunes to ask the question 'What's Northern Soul then' lol well if he was to ask me the answer would be 'Fucked if I know anymore'
