I'm in Newquay at SoulVation weekender and just heard, both Keith & I started to dj when we were 16 & 15, just shocked. We went everywhere from Wigan, Samanthas , St Ives etc, ran nights around Newton le Willows area together & in last few years I ran the Viaduct invited him onto the team there .......................... just lost for words .

I first met Keith back in 81 after the Casino shut - He was instrumental in helping along with Brian Rae of supporting the Peterborough Soul Club when we re opened the Wirrina back in 82 and later when st Ives alldayers were re opened and the Fleet 82 to when the all nighters shut in 87. Last time I saw Keith was when he DJ'ed at the Rugby Club all nighter approx 5 years ago - all of us have lost a good guy - will spin chubby checker you just don't know for him next time - top man was a real part of my memories -catch you later Keith - glad to have know you mate x

So gutted to lose my mate  Keith from Earlestown. Didn't really realise how many peoples lives he had touched over the years until I started reading all the posts and comments on the internet. First met in 1975, never forgotten.

what a shock this sad news is, it  took me right back to being 17 again when myself keith and a few other friends used to be regulars at the weekly club nights at the casino and then we were always in Mrms at the nighter always at local events  i think keith was a friend to most folks on this scene a genuine nice bloke and a great laugh not to mention a very good dj

I myself have known keith for nearly 40 years. There are many stories to tell, two briefly, my mrs and I st helens car boot, pouring with rain, keith turns up, just a denim jacket, after a introduction and a banter, promises he'll have a coat on next time.Wigan market, mid seventies, regular visitor, someone else gets a bag full of decent motown, keith dejected, walks away, stall holder calls him back, another bag, these might be of interest, most of the uk polydor releases, keith walks away, big smile, one happy bunny. After recent visits to burscough legion, we hadn't seen him for a while. Your kindess, knowledge, memories, laughter, will stay with us. R.I.P Keith, god bless, Nigel and Judy.
