Just a thought...slightly off-topic as that is the way my head works....2 songs on the same side of a 45. I've got Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels - Devil with the Blue Dress stomping into Good Golly Miss Molly and Bunny Sigler - Let the Good Times Roll smacking into Feel So Good, any others ?

One of my all time fave double  headers is Alberta Weeks - Mirrow On The Wall & Forget Me Not but the one I'm constantly playing lately is Olivia Alexander - He's Gonna Love Me The Right Way (part 1) c/w Part 2 - there is something about this track that really gets to me.

Ouch! Can't pick one.

If I had to, the shortlist may look like this.

Linda Jones. I'll Be Sweeter Tomorrow/That's When I'll Stop Loving You.

Bobby Bland. Back In The Same Old Bag Again/I Ain't Myself Anymore.

Impressions. You Ought To Be In Heaven/I Can't Stay Away from You.

Jerry Butler. I've Been Trying/Giving Up On Love.

Walter Jackson. My One Chance to Make It/Deep In The Heart Of Harlem.

Walter Jackson. Not You/A Corner In The Sun.

Debbie Taylor. I Don't Wanna  Leave You/Just Don't Pay.

And that's only the 'non dance floor' selection!

Tim.

Ronnie McNeir.... Sitting in my class/Isn't she pretty

Silky Hargraves... I'll keep on trying/Love, lets try it again

And in my opinion the finest double sided Soul 45 on this planet.... Jimmy Gresham.... This feeling i have/Put it out of your mind.

Incidentally, if anyone EVER decides to boot JG then i'm afraid it's both barrels of a shotgun!

Agree with several already mentioned, plus some reminders to turn a couple over, and favourite today may not be favourite tomorrow but missing from the list so far:

Fantastic Four - Can't Stop Looking For My Baby / Just The Lonely. I adore Just the Lonely.

An afterthought but worth a mention, recently got a Big Frank and The Essences - I Won't Let her see Me Cry (Blue Rock), and Pete Taylor told me to turn it over and play The Secret, said he used to give it some early spins at Annesley. Good advice.
